Thanks Jan.
Congrats to our girls winning the gold!
Never thought I would say this, good to see Staal back. Looking forward to see how the new kid plays, and Kreids back this weekend.

Great Gold Medal game last night. That move on the game-winning shoot-out goal was insane. I still find it hard to believe there is actually a penalty in ANY hockey for checking.

Miller on the 4th line. Guess the kid is in the dog house again. Would rather see Miller Center the 3rd line with Grabs on his wing. Move DD to the 4th and sit Holland for Carey.

The thing I have with AV is that he messes up lines that work and doesn't with those that do not. Grabs/Hayes/Miller...where's that line been? Fast/Boo/Carey...what was wrong with that as your 4th line? Scoring too many goals for AV? I don't and will never get this coach.

So they can be dramatically pulled mid-1st period when the team that really wants them craps their pants and caves to Gorton's demands. It also helps the tank to play with only 11 or 10 forwards for the rest of the game.

Tried to stay awake for women’s game but didn’t happen as I missed the OT/Shootout. It’s just funny how it looked like a bunch of Zuccarellos out there. Otherwise, I thought it was a great game and they missed a pretty vicious elbow on a Canadian that shoulda been 5 minutes. Great win tho

If one gets hurt, Vin is taking a pitch fork to Gorton's house

usual trade deadline is sell off of F A's ,but not many block buster deals
I am predicting at least 1 if not 2 major sized deals happening
main possible players are .NYR Ott Edm......
I see Karllson & Mac being traded maybe for each other w/Ryan in deal

would you give up Miller Mac + #1 pick for Karllson Ryan

Holding pattern... how long til the fuel runs out.

For the gold medal game, US was sloppy for 2 1/2 periods and we're lucky to be down by only one goal. The last part of the 3rd, (minus the Canadien powerplay)and OT was all US and Canada was lucky they got a chance in the shootout.

Edm with Mc d & Draistl tying up 20 mill cant keep RNH

he is going to go to clear cap room so Edm can sign sum of its players ....

Not sure why R N H dosnt get a top review forpossible next break out centers ...

Look at Karllson in Vegas ,,what would you trade for him ?

he was barely a 4th line center NOW #1 line for #1 Vegas

You guys dont know what R N H has got ... book is wide open on him, not written

no, that Bobby Ryan contract is a real poopburger

not only the money and term, but it also has a NMC on it, which means the Rangers would have to protect him in the Seattle expansion draft

exactly, Seattle is 2 years away and Bobby Ryan's contract ends in 2022

so the Rangers would be forced to protect him in the draft and they would have to expose someone they wont want to lose, so no goddamn way. The end.

If the Rangers were trying to win a cup this year or next I get going after Karlsson. Just doesn't make much sense for them right now

Keep hoping I’ll wake up to read Lundquist wants out!! Instead, Staal is back. Ugghhh. Sure he’s been steady this year, but would we really be looking to move MacD if we didn’t have Staal and Smith tying up over 10 mil?

We sometimes simplify these things but NTCs are really important to the players, especially now since that are not given out as readily as they used to be.

I think the book is kind of written on RNH. He's in his 7th year in the league and that is pretty much in my view enough time to determine what a player is. He's a good player that going to give you somewhere between 45-55 points a year. That's who he is. He's not a first line center and he has the same type of contract that most wanted to get rid of with Stepan. He's a good second line center, but honestly, for the money he isn't worth an acquisition. He's just not the right player for the Rangers right now.
